Manage Asset Assignments

Asset Assignments 

The Asset Assignments feature assigns company property to employees for tracking purposes. 


Assigned assets can be updated as a returned asset, or a lost or destroyed asset. Asset Types must be created by administrators in the solution beforehand for assets to be assigned to employees. 


Assign an Asset to an Employee 

Associate an asset, such as a laptop, with the employee record for tracking purposes. 


Navigation: Menu > Team > HR > HR Maintenance > Asset Assignments 

  1. From the Asset (Property) Assignments page, select Add New. The New Asset Assignment window appears. 
  2. At the Employee field, select the Browse icon. The Employee Lookup window appears. 
  3. Select the applicable employee. 
  4. At the Type drop-down list, select Company. 
  5. At the Company Asset field, select the Browse icon. The Browse and Select Assets window appears. 
  6. Select the applicable asset. 
  7. Select Save. 

Update an Existing Asset Assignment 

The status of assigned assets can be updated to either returned, lost, or destroyed. 


Navigation: Menu > Team > HR > HR Maintenance > Asset Assignments 

  1. From the Assets (Property) Assignments page, select the View Asset Assignment icon for the applicable employee. 
  2. From the Asset Assignments page, select from the following: 
    1. To mark an asset as returned, select Return Asset. The Return Asset window appears. Complete the applicable information and then select Return. 
    2. To mark an asset as lost or destroyed, select Mark as Lost/Destroyed. The Lost/Destroyed on Date window appears. Complete the applicable information and then select Return. 
  3. Select Save.
