            Pay Calculations Common Rules

            Practice: Navigate Pay Calculations Profile 

            Open the Hourly Pay Calculations profile in the activity below. 


            To access a Pay Calculations profile and rules: 

            1. Navigate to Admin > Company Settings > Profile/Policies > Pay Calculations 
            2. Select View/Edit Pay Calculations Profile for the desired profile. 
            3. Select Edit in the Schedule widget. 

            Rules display in order of execution from top to bottom on the resulting screen. 



            Practice: Add a Pay Calculations Rule 

            Add a new Exception Based On Time Between Shifts in the activity below.  


            To add a rule to a Pay Calculations profile: 

            1. From the Pay Calculations profile rules list screen, select Add Step. 
            2. Select the desired rule. 

            The new rule is displayed in blue on the list. 



            Practice: Edit an Exceptions Rule 

            Edit an exceptions rule in the activity below.  


            To edit a rule: 
            1. Select Edit Step within Required Settings or Filters and Additional Settings  
            2. Add or adjust criteria as needed 
            3. Select Save
