Pay Calculations
Typically, the Pay Calculation Profile Rules apply to time entries when any of the following actions occur:

- A punch out is recorded which completes a time entry.
- A timesheet is saved after changes have been entered.
There are a few instances in which changes to the employee or other settings in the application are not made through the Pay Calculation Rules during the above actions. For example, if an employee’s Pay Calculation Profile is changed after time is collected, the new profile rules may not be applied.
To ensure that timesheet calculations are accurate, it is best practice to complete the Reapply Pay Calculations step of the Time Prep checklist. This step forces the system to look at all changes to employee, timesheet, and application settings when running the Pay Calculation Rules on each timesheet.
