Once applicants are entered into Recruiting, there are several ways to manage them during the recruitment and hiring process.

These include:

  1. Communication Templates
  2. Notifications
  3. Interview Communications
  4. Update of Hiring Stages
  5. Hiring

Communication Templates

Email templates are created to help automate responses to applicantsExamples are:

  1. We would like to schedule an interview
  2. Additional tasks for your second interview with our Director
  3. We have hired another candidate

Templates are chosen during the recruitment process and sent as emails to applicantsA history of email communications is stored in an applicant's record.

Notifications

There are numerous notifications that may be configured. These alert Recruiters or Hiring Managers or those involved in hiring, about tasks completed or items updated in Recruiting.

The email message and recipients are configurable.

Interviews

In the applicant record, on the Communications tab, there is an interview section where interviews performed for the applicant are tracked.

Your company can email applicants, and other employees within your company, to attend the interview. Once the email is sent, a history of the communication is maintained on the tab of the applicant record.

Hiring

Applicants are hired as employees directly within Recruiting.  If the individual has multiple job applications, you choose which job requisition the applicant is being hired to fill.

The HIRE option appears on any of the tabs within the applicant record.

Hire this Applicant

A window appears where you select which application you are hiring the applicant for. All applicant profile information (name, address, phone number, etc.) transfers into the employee record seamlessly and easily. You save time onboarding new employees.
