Applicant Hiring When an applicant is hired as an employee, the applicant’s information feeds into the new employee record. The applicant record also remains in the database. | Use HR Action for Hiring? First determine if your company uses the HR Action for Hiring option. This is configured in the Recruiting configuration.

| Hire an applicant Follow the steps below on how to hire an applicant. These steps are from the Applicant Record.
Step 1 Navigate to Team > Recruitment > Candidates > Applicants.
Step 2 Select the View Applicant icon for the appropriate applicant. Step 3 Select Hire. ![]() ![]() NOTE If using an HR Action, select the HR Action name. Otherwise, this step does not appear.
Step 4 Select the Job Application icon and choose the appropriate application you are hiring the applicant for.
Step 5 After selecting OK: If hiring manually, complete any required or needed fields in the new employee widgets. If hiring using an HR Action, complete any required or needed fields in the HR Action widgets. ![]() Step 6 If hiring manually, select Add Employee. If hiring using an HR Action, select Submit. ![]() ![]() Remember! If your company uses an HR Action for Hiring, the applicant does not become an employee until the HR Action Request is approved. If your company does not use an HR Action for Hiring, the applicant becomes an employee immediately after selecting Add Employee. Applicants may also be hired from the job application. Navigate to Team > Recruitment > Job Applications. After selecting the individual, select the Hire button in the Quick Actions area. |
