Generate Shifts from Workload Template

Workload Templates are imported from within a schedule's settings screen. To edit a schedule's settings, click View Schedule Settings in the desired schedule's row.

The settings on the left of the screen are based on the chosen Schedule Setting for this schedule. The Workload Coverage widget on the right is where the Workload Template is imported, and shifts are generated.

Import Workload Template 

Click Import Workload Template to select from configured templates in your company.

Select a template from one of the configured Workload Templates in your company.

Workload requirements display with the ratio of assigned shifts to assigned needs for that shift type.

Generate Open Shifts 

At this point, there are no shifts on the schedule yet. To create open shifts on the schedule based on the imported Workload Template, click Generate Shifts for Open Coverage, and click Yes in the resulting dialog box. 








There are now open shifts on the schedule, but no shifts have been assigned to employees.
