Approve an I-9 Form

This article describes how to approve the I-9 form. I-9s are submitted by employees for verification. Administrators must approve the I-9, The I-9 does not follow a workflow process. 
 

Approve an Employee I-9 Form

Navigation: Team > HR > Form > Government Forms > I-9s 

  1. Select the employee to approve their form. 
  2. Select View. 
  3. Scroll to Section Two. 
  4. Enter verified documents. 
  5. Enter your Title (job position) in the appropriate field. 
  6. Select Save and Verify. 
  7. Enter date of employment for employee. 
  8. Enter password. 
  9. Select I agree. 


Important: A global Notification may be configured to notify Administrators there are IA9 forms to be approved. 

Navigate to Admin > Global Setup > Notifications. Select I9 Submitted and configure as needed. 

Note: Once the I-9 is approved, the I-9 information updates the employees' record and appears on the HR tab under All Forms. Upon completion, the I-9 status changes to verified (online).
